This is an inclusive service, well furnished  wide range and resourced both outdoors and indoors. Inclusive learning opportunities that continuously motivate and challenge your child/children. A caring and warm-hearted atmosphere, safe, secure and stimulating learning environment to develop independence. It meets parents' early learning, educational, nurturing and safety goals. And closes the gap regarding SEND childminders provision.

  • I partner with other professionals like physiotherapists, Speech and Language therapists, Rodney House Outreach workers, Health Visitors among others to ensure your children receive a personalised but a holistic  support (approach) and care.

  • I have lots of life and work experiences in working with children with SEND and i am able to cater for the needs of SEND children.

 

  • Since Starlightkids Childminding Service Ltd is an exceptional service, it gives room, support and opportunities for apprenticeship programme for young peoples and adults, who wants this pathway for their carer development to learn on the job, to attain their Early Years Practitioner's Level 2 qualification with flying colours.

Pedagogy

A blend of research evidence approaches and theories translated into everyday quality inclusive practice in regards to curriculum and quality inclusive practice in supporting, learning and development. Example, the use of non-statutory Development Matter, Development Journal, Ofsted EYFS among other relevant early years documents. Theories like Scandinavian approach - free flow, outside in all weathers, Bowlby : Attachment theory, Vygotsky : Sociocultural theory and the 'Voice' of the children.

Parents/Carers

  • This is to inform you that Starlightkids is open for registration for September 2024.

  • Free funded places available for 9 months, 2, 3 and 4 years old.

  • Please get in touch as spaces are available now! and maybe limited soon!

Why Choose a Childminder

Childminders can offer:

  • Individuals care, sometimes even one to one, where time can be spent interacting with your child, whether that be having a cuddle and singing nursery rhymes or helping with homework.

I aimed at  quality and inclusive service at all times, so Manchester City Council Early Years Department identified me and gave me the role as a SEND SUPPORT CHILDMINDER.

I was further recognised and nominated for SEND SUPPORT CHILDMINDING AWARD for ‘Providing ‘High Quality Peer Support to Improve Practice’ 2024
